Little is recorded about Dorothy Ochtman, except that she was Leonard Ochtman's daughter, was born in Riverside, Connecticut, and studied both with her father, and at the National Academy of Design. She exhibited at the Academy in her 40s, and later won a Guggenheim European Scholarship.
